Quiquiriqui Mezcals are made to order in small batches using agave plants, picked only when fully mature, then cooked, wild fermented and distilled in alembic 350lts stills using the families time honoured traditional methods. Espadin mezcal is infused with the mezcalero’s home made black mole paste for 2 weeks before a third distillation. This type of mezcal is known as a ‘Pechuga’ style and is made locally for special occasions and celebrations.... less
